What is the Parenting Children Course?

The Parenting Children Course is a series of six sessions designed to help parents, carers, and parents-to-be to strengthen their family relationships by providing them with practical teaching and support.

Over the six weeks, the course will seek to help you:

  • Build strong foundations

  • Meet your children's needs

  • Set clear boundaries

  • Teach healthy relationships

  • Consider you long term aim

  • Nurture your children's faith

Timings: 7:30pm - 9:00pm

Course Duration: 6 weeks

Location: Online, via Microsoft Teams

  • The Parenting Children Course is for parents, step-parents, prospective parents, or carers of children aged 0-10 years.

    The course is for every type of parenting situation including parenting on your own, step-parenting and parenting as a couple.

    The Parenting Children Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all parents and carers with or without a church background.

  • The Parenting Children Course is designed to provide the most benefit when accompanied by times of group discussion with other parents.

    Parents who are interested in the course are encouraged to invite one or more of their friends to join the course with them so that they can form a discussion group each week as part of the course.

    The course will be hosted live over Teams.

The authors of The Parenting Children Course and The Parenting Book, Nicky and Sila Lee, have worked with couples and families for over twenty years and speak regularly on parenting.
