EMILY SUN – VIOLIN
JAMES SHERLOCK – PIANO

A student at the Royal College of Music, Emily is destined for great things. She is the first violinist since 1981 to win the Gold Medal of the Royal Overseas League Music Competition. Already this year, she has appeared on Radio 3’s Intune programme, has played with Maxim Vengerov at Buckingham Palace and has won first prize in the Bromsgrove international Musician’s Competition.
James performs widely as both conductor and pianist. He has been a soloist with the London Philharmonic and English Chamber Orchestras and performs regularly at the Wigmore Hall. He and Emily will be performing together at the Edinburgh Festival this summer.

ABOUT THE CONCERT

An afternoon celebration with a musical performance followed by afternoon tea.
If you would like to attend, please do turn up on the day - there is no need to book in advance.

VOLUNTEERING

Once again, we would love your help either with baking, hosting or serving the afternoon tea. Please let us know how you would like to be involved, and if you are interested in baking for the first time, don't hesitate to get in touch. Along with great music, we provide a Ritz-like afternoon tea with a beautifully prepared and presented spread of high-quality delicious sandwiches and cakes.

If you are available to help please let us know by emailing: [email protected]
