Younger Youth

For school years 6 to 8

Younger Youth gather across our sites on Sundays for youth sessions. Feel free to come along to any of the following:

HTB Brompton Road at 9.30 am and 11.30 am
HTB Onslow Square at 10.30 am
HTB Onslow Square at 4.30 pm
HTB Dalgarno Way at 11 am
HTB St Luke’s Earl’s Court at 11 am

Sundays

As Younger Youth we gather together on the 2nd Friday of each month for Friday Squad and join the wider HTB Youth family on the 4th Friday of the month for Youth All In.

  • Youth Director

    Hey, I’m Tom, the Head of Youth at HTB. Previously I oversaw Alpha Youth & Students globally, and before that I was an evangelist and youth worker in York. I have a passion to see every young person come to know Jesus and share that faith with their mates. I’m married to Charlotte, and we have a daughter called Lily and a son called Milo.

    Hi I’m Zach, and I’m from Canada! This is my first year as a part of the HTB Youth Team! I am currently in school studying theology at St. Mellitus College. I love being on the youth team because not only do we have fun, but we get to encounter God together, and challenge each other to go deeper. Try to spot the moth in my picture!

    Hiya! My name's Jess and I'm one of the youth pastors at HTB. I've been a part of the youth group since I was 17, and I now work here on team, which makes me feel very old! I've recently finished a degree at St Mellitus College and I’m now loving the full time youth pastor life. One thing you should know about me is that I love instant coffee way more than all the fancy stuff... I know, probably a sin.

    Hey, I’m Ryan. I’m originally from Birmingham (although I don’t really have the accent) and I moved to London at the start of 2021. I work in a housing association’s new homes team so I’m often running round London visiting our building sites and newly built flats. I enjoy baking, Harry Potter, musical theatre, exploring nature and running — although that’s more so I can eat more of my triple choc brownies!

    It’s amazing to see the work God is doing in people’s lives and I can’t wait to see what wonders He has in store for us all!

    Hi, my name is Joshua. I am from London. I work as a floor layer and I enjoy my job. I enjoy good food and being of help to others in need, where I can. This is my first term with HTB Youth. I am passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives, to guide them closer to God, to encourage and support their journeys, and have loads of fun doing so with me and the rest of the amazing team.

    Hey, I’m Dunni, and I am currently studying theology at LST. I’m still very new to youth work but I am absolutely loving it already. One somewhat interesting thing about me is I love music. For me, few things equal the experience of taking in a masterfully crafted album and disappearing into the world of music for an hour. My favourite albums are Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder and Aquemini by Outkast. I’m also a massive comic book nerd and a football and basketball fan.

    Hi, I’m Sam. I go to the 11 am at St Luke’s, and sometimes the 6.30 pm at Onslow Square, too! I’m massively into cycling, swimming and generally keeping active. I’m currently learning to dance which is fun! I love cooking and baking… mainly so I can eat it. Ask me about my brownies… I’m a civil servant so work for the government, and I’m always happy to chat about that.

    I grew up in a Christian household but I only really became a Christian in the summer of 2019. I’ve only just started with the Youth Team so I’m so excited to meet you all!

    Hey, I’m Fiorella! I’m from Ecuador and have lived in the London for the past five years. I love the arts and I did fashion at uni so anything that involves crafts is my thing! I’m excited to be part of the growth of the youth and see what God has for us!

  • Ordinand

    I am a second year ordinand with HTB and I am studying a BA in Theology, Mission and Ministry at St Mellitus College. I was a personal trainer for over 10 years and represented both Hackney and London in football and athletics. I am a BIG foodie and my favourite meal to make is sticky honey pork with rice and roasted broccoli.
