Older Youth is for those in school years 10-13.
We encourage Older Youth to meet on Sundays at 16:30 at HTB Onslow Square.
Every fortnight we gather in connect groups after the 16:30 to chat with friends about life, faith and God. We finish up by eating together. Approx 18:15-19:45.
These connect groups will be running on the following Sundays in the summer term:
- 14th May
- 28th May (DIY groups)*
- 11th June (DIY groups)*
- 25th June
- 9th July
* There will be no connect groups on Sunday 30th April as it's the Leadership Conference 1st-2nd May at the Royal Albert Hall (to which we are encouraging our young people to attend in the evenings).
* Two 'DIY groups' have been scheduled in around the busy season of exams. These are de-centralised groups which are arranged by a young person's specific connect group leader who will look to arrange a meet-up close to these dates at a mutually convenient time/location (eg. a cafe in South Kensington). Please get in touch with your connect group leader to find out what's happening.
Leadership Conference 1st-2nd May 2017 (Royal Albert Hall):
We're hoping to gather a group of our older youth to serve at and attend the Leadership Conference in the evenings of 1st and 2nd May. Keep these dates free if you are interested! More details to follow soon!
Here you can find helpful information about HTB Youth. We send most of this stuff over email, if you don't yet get our 'Youth FYI' emails yet then sign up here.
If you're new to HTB it would help so much if you filled this in for us: New Starters Form
We need one of these for each young person that attends HTB Youth: Annual Consent Form
All the dates for younger youth this term are displayed here on this term card that you can print off and stick on your fridge. TERM CARD
We believe all children are valued equally and created in God's image. We are honoured to serve those with special needs, and want to provide an environment where every child can have an encounter with God.
We take special needs to mean children who need extra or different help from that given to other children of the same age. This extra help may be needed because of a range of needs, such as thinking, understanding, physical or sensory difficulties, emotional and behavioural difficulties, difficulties with speech or language, or how they relate to and behave with other people.
Our aims are that children with Special Needs are:
Included and Welcome – All belong to God’s family and are welcome.
Involved – All have different gifts and something to contribute to the group.
Invited to Encounter – Create an environment where they can encounter God and to see their relationship with God and others grow.
We will try our best to give one to one support for your child when they come to Youth on a Sunday. The helper will work together with the parents of the child they will be looking after; to work out the way the child can enjoy Youth the most. They will have the option of going to the mainstream age group (or the age group most suited to them) with their helper or of spending some time in a quieter space where there will be activities and crafts especially for them.
Please do let us know [email protected]
If you're interested in being on team, then we would love for you to get in touch.

We are pleased to partner with Onelife. Onelife want to establish a family of godly leaders, earthed in local churches, who will be defined by biblical principals, deep character and the presence of God in all they do. Onelife works mainly with 14 to 21 year olds and with their youth leaders. At HTB Youth we work in partnership with Onelife to see our teenagers grow in leadership skill and potential. Keep your eyes peeled for the youth leadership course coming soon.
You can learn more about Onelife here.
